John is managing member/founder of the Law Office of John L. Billings, PLLC. He recently served as vice president and managing officer for a Tennessee state-chartered independent trust company providing trust administration, probate/estate services and investment management in a fiduciary capacity for individuals and families as well as endowments and foundations. Further he has served as in-house counsel for an insurance related holding company conglomerate, where his practice ranged among such areas as corporate governance, financial services, regulatory, compliance, contracts, intellectual property, collections, bankruptcy, litigation/outside counsel management, human resources and various other practice areas.
