My Grandfather, Joseph B. Lee, was an accountant and my mentor. I learned a great deal about the IRS from him at an early age. Both my father and my sister were also attorneys in Tacoma, Washington.I studied Federal Tax Law at Seattle University School of Law in 1985. Upon graduation in 1988, I started my practice at Sterbick, Abel, & Sterbick.Through my tax practice, I learned that many tax debts can be discharged through Chapter 7 bankruptcy or paid through Chapter 13. I began practicing bankruptcy law in 2009. My firm has discharged literally millions of dollars of IRS debt for my clients.I am admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court, and the Washington State Superior Court.I am a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association and the Washington State Bar Association.I am married and blessed with my wonderful wife and children. When I'm not doing things with my family in my spare time, I enjoy ballroom dancing and the game of golf.
