Building a career in the mortgage industry has been a natural extension of who John is and where he comes from. He grew up in Charlotte, going to Carowinds, watching Charlotte develop from a small city to one of the fastest growing in the country attract new residents from all over. His father was real estate manager for the city of Charlotte, and his mother was a part-time Realtor when not working as a Flight Attendant. John brings to his career a deep interest in real estate and the home buying process through his social and outgoing personality. He enjoys helping consumers with what for many will be the largest single purchase or investment of their lives. And he equally enjoys mentoring and leading loan officers as they build their own careers in the industry. John earned his associate degree in business administration and management from Central Piedmont Community College. When he's not working, John enjoys being outside, especially on Lake Norman or at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, and being with his wife and 2 young daughters.
