Joel Schwarz is a partner in the Las Vegas office of Lewis Brisbois and is a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice.Joel is in his 20th year of practice, and has extensive experience in Complex Commercial, Catastrophic Tort, Commercial Landlord-Tenant, Intellectual Property, and Banlruptcy litigation, as well as Civil Appeals. Joel also has significant financial services litigation experience, representing national association banks and other institutional lenders in creditor's rights matters, including secured and unsecured business loan enforcement litigation, nonjudicial foreclosure and deficiency judgment proceedings, post judgment execution, and related remedies.Joel is admitted in all State and Federal Courts in Nevada, including the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada. Joel also is admitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Joel has successfully tried bench and jury trials in both State and Federal Courts in Nevada.Away from the office, Joel enjoys traveling with his family. In 2020, Joel's family got the camping bug and purchased a travel trailer to explore the scenic byways and amazing National and State Parks and Recreation Areas throughout the desert Southwest.
