Born and bred in the real estate industry, Joel learned the finer points of business early on by watching his father, Paul, make a lasting impact in the community as a leading agent and broker. Growing up playing baseball, Joel was an athlete who put as much effort into practice as he did game time performances. After graduating Lutheran High School of Orange County, he carried his work ethic on the field to Cypress College, where his team won the state championship. He learned a great deal about himself as he continued his collegiate baseball career for 3 more years, graduating from California State University, Fullerton. After completing his degree, Joel set his sights on real estate and has been a licensed broker for 15 years. He initially worked alongside his father to learn the ropes, but knew that true success would only come when he took the principles of what his father has successfully done for many years and ventured out on his own. While maintaining the family values and tradition, he saw opportunities to innovate and grow the Kott name. What drives Joel most as a real estate professional is the chance to help others make the most of their opportunities. As a great problem solver, if you present him with your goals, you can be sure he is going to give his absolute all to achieve it. He adamantly listens to his clients and takes the time to understand what matters most to them. Stating, "I get to interact with friends, families and clients on such a privileged and trusted level with one of their largest investments", Joel understands and respects the value of relationships that this business entails, and plans to carry on the trusted Kott name in to the next generation.
