I've lived in Chicago since 2004, and I'm still amazed at how much this city has to offer. Whether I'm spending a day with my wife and daughter at the Museum of Science and Industry, walking our dogs through the neighborhood, riding my bike or cheering for the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks, I'm proud that this is our home. Chicago truly is a world-class city, and opening my Allstate Insurance agency here in 2005 made perfect sense. I love the hard-working, fun-loving people here, which is why my agency is about more than insurance. Community service is paramount to us, and each team member gets three days a year to volunteer with local charities. We also donate $10 for every customer referral, and we've raised enough to do things like adapt a car for a local cancer survivor with visual impairments. As a cancer survivor for more than 20 years, I support Imerman Angels, the local chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Livestrong Foundation and Love Hope Strength. I also participate in "Movember" each year to raise money for prostate cancer research and men's health. People are the foundation of everything my team and I do.
