Joe has real estate in his blood. He is a third generation Real Estate Broker licensed since 1993. His grandfather and father both had real estate brokerages and Joe was involved in the real estate business from a very early age helping his father with property inspections and office filing. When he was 18 he started real estate licensing classes unbeknownst to his father and surprised him on Christmas morning with his agent license. His "official" real estate career had begun. Although at that time he was trying to balance a full schedule of college classes at Purdue Calumet; Joe spent any free time he had in the office learning the nut and bolts of the business from his father and other agents at Moke Realty. After graduating college, Joe took the reins at the family business, as his father was nearing retirement. It didn't take long after and Joe was growing the business by adding 3 offices and securing a lucrative HUD contract to list properties all over Northwest Indiana. Furthermore, in 2000 Joe launched MokeRealty.com which has evolved over the years into a sophisticated, user friendly web site for Northwest Indiana real estate. Today with Joe at the helm, Weichert, Realtors(r) - The Moke Agency operates in a family owned building in Crown Point. From there Joe and his team can service all of Northwest Indiana. In addition to being a member of the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of Realtors (GNIAR), Joe is also a member of the White County Association of Realtors and the Indiana Regional Multiple Listing Service. Licensed over 25 years, Joe has experience to help you in all different types of real estate transactions including: Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Multi-Units, Vacant Land, Leasing, Contract Sales and Property Management. Additionally, Joe has served his fellow Realtors for many years as a board member of the GNIAR Multiple Listing Service. He is currently finishing up his 5 term as a board member. Joe is a family man. Happily married for 18 years to his high school sweetheart, Kristi, Joe spends a lot of his free time with his wife and 4 children at their river cabin in Pulaski County. He is also a long time Bears Season Ticket holder.
