Jodi and Joanna have lived and worked as a real estate team in the Short Hills area for over 20 years. Legend has it that they shared a room on the maternity floor of Mount Sinai Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan when their first daughters were born. After connecting at a Gymboree class, their chatty daughters were inseparable, as were their golfer husbands. Jodi already had one foot out of NYC as she was committed to move in 8 months to her new home in Short Hills, her husband had decided that they could get more real estate bang for the buck in the suburbs. He was ready for more space, BBQs in a backyard and the MidTown Direct train commute to Manhattan. Jodi was less certain about the inevitable move and her plan was to take anyone from NYC with her.. Jodi quickly convinced Joanna, a native New Yorker, to move to New Jersey in a sneak attack that would change their lives forever. Jodi orchestrated her first NJ real estate deal by telling Joanna to just "look" at three homes for comparison's sake before committing to a potential move to Brooklyn. Joanna accidentally bought one of those three houses that first day, after informing Jodi's real estate agent that she would absolutely not move to NJ in the foreseeable future. Within a year of moving both of their families to Short Hills, Jodi and Joanna developed a strong interest in real estate and the idea of helping others make the move to the suburbs was certain. After all, if two reluctant New Yorkers could find happiness in their new homes, then perhaps they could help guide others to find their happy place in New Jersey. With years of hard work, fierce honesty, passion and humor, this dynamic duo have helped many clients achieve their real estate goals and have made life-long friends.
