I'm a second-generation insurance agent and opened my Allstate agency in 1999 after spending nine years as a claims representative. From the start, it's been important to me that customers have the information they need to choose the right coverage for their situation. I grew up in Austin when the population was 250,000 and you could get from one side of town to the other in 30 minutes. While that is certainly not the case anymore, my family loves living in Lakeway because of the small-town feeling of our community that I once experienced growing up in Austin. Because we love our community, we take great pride in giving back to many organizations. For 12 years, I served as a Cubmaster and Scoutmaster for both of my Eagle Scouts and still financially support our troop. Having had three children graduate from Lake Travis High School, we continue to financially support the soccer program and FFA. Through our personal community involvement, The Allstate Foundation has presented grants in the tens of thousands of dollars to local non-profits. While there are too many to list, a few are the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Lake Travis Education Foundation and Austin Disaster Relief Network. My greatest joy is spending time with my family being outdoors fishing, hiking and riding motorcycles.
