This is Jim Stafford's 25th year in residential real estate in Monroe County, including Bloomington, Ellettsville, Unionville, Lake Monroe and Lake Lemon. Jim started his career as a Residential Real Estate Appraiser in 1991 and obtained his Real Estate Broker's license in 1993. Because of his knowledge as an Appraiser, PRICE is his expertise! Jim was the Broker/Owner for four years at Stafford Realty and is still the owner of Stafford Appraisal Services, Inc. which he started in 1995. * Jim's early years prior to real estate...Jim was born on Long Island, New York and then moved a few years after to the San Diego, California area with his family, which included two brothers, two sisters, Mom & Dad. After living 5 years in California, Jim's family moved again to Oak Harbor, Washington near Seattle. In 1975, after 6 years, Jim and his family moved from Oak Harbor, Washington to Bloomington where he attended Middle School, High School and in 1984 he graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Prior to working in the real estate industry Jim had been a Sporting Good Manufacturer's Sales Rep. and his territory included Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. The sporting goods lines he represented included Pony Baseball, Football and Boxing Shoes, Pony Apparel, Swingster and Dunbrooke jackets, Brine Soccer & Lacrosse, Incrediball and Markwort Sporting Goods Company out of St. Louis who were Distributors for Rawlings, Converse, Wilson, Louisville Slugger and many other companies.
