Jim Brown

With more than 30 years of banking and lending experience, Jim brings a wealth of local knowledge of the real estate community to Gibraltar Bank. As SVP of Residential Mortgage, his goal is to simplify the often confusing and frustrating mortgage process by providing transparency, flexibility, and sound advice to his customers. He has a reputation for being approachable and communicating well with his clients. He and his staff help people achieve their dream of home ownership - even in a tough economic environment. While customers find him easily accessible, likeable, and fair, he is also a sharp businessman who, prior to joining Gibraltar, opened loan production offices for several banks, was head of sales for a large Savings institution managing retail and wholesale operations, and later partnered to form Select Mortgage Company where he managed and helped build a very productive mortgage banking company. Jim is married with two children. He spends his free time with his grandchildren. Jim is a Board of Director at the Spring Lake BID.
