Although Amarillo, Texas, is considered home now, I was actually raised in a small town in Colorado. I was about as far away from Wall Street as you could get. The nearest mall was two hours away in any direction, and the nearest airport was four hours in any direction. Like a lot of people, I was never taught in-depth about investing and money management.So, when my wife and I got married, I knew we needed help. We took a class about financial freedom by living debt free and building wealth. That was over a decade ago, and the principles have stuck with us ever since. She has been an elementary school teacher for her career. Over the last few years, she's also been a travel agent and will be doing that full time starting in 2025. I began my career at Edward Jones in 2015. I strive for excellence in the service and advice I provide to my clients, so I achieved my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2024. We also have two daughters that keep us busy with their gymnastics and Kids Inc. activities.
