I have lived in Parke County most of my life, celebrating my first birthday here after my parents purchased the local newspaper. After graduating from Rockville High School, I attended Purdue University. I met my husband, Gary, shortly after college graduation and moved to Wisconsin. We lived in the great north for a short while, longing to return to Indiana to be closer to family. We then found ourselves in Greenfield, where we lived until my father passed in 1999. That is what brought us back to my home community. I managed the newspaper until my financial advisor recruited me to come and work for Edward Jones. My husband, Gary, works for Duke Energy in Plainfield. We have a son, Ben, who will be getting married this year and currently is the marketing manager for a boat dealership.Community service has always been a very important part of my family's lives, and I believe in giving back. I currently serve as president of the Parke County Sheriff's Office Merit Board. I am a member of and past president of the Parke County Chamber of Commerce, a member of Rockville MainStreet and various other organization and community activities. I am a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church here in Rockville as well. I also serve in region leadership roles at Edward Jones as well as a field trainer and mentor to other financial advisors and a student at ISU.My goal in business is this – to find out what is important to my clients; show them an established process and help them reach whatever goal they may have; and to partner together for their lives to help meet those goals.I am proud to be a part of this community and love calling it home. I have found an opportunity at Edward Jones to help people while making a living and a difference in people's lives.
