I was employed as a Chemical Engineer for 23 years prior to practicing law. I have tried 250+ criminal jury trials and negotiated approximately 4000 pleas. I have approximately 50 published opinions in the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. My jury trials range from misdemeanor crimes to severe felonies with potential sentences of life imprisonment. I've tried multiple murder cases, multiple sexual assault offense cases, and drug related offenses. I have always been a sole practioner. I've been involved in martial arts for most of life and am a multilevel black belt. My son is a 3rd degree black belt and presently attends college on a full scholarship. My daughter and son-in-law are both practicing Attorneys. I served 6 years in the USMC during Vietnam.
