Jerry joined the firm in 1974 to be with his father, Edward D. Jacks, in the firm he established in 1945. Jerry, like his father before him, is always looking to "raise the bar" to ensure the best possible and quality service in accounting, auditing and taxation for the clients of the firm. Jerry is a "hands on" Partner and personally reviews all work prepared by his professional staff. He enjoys interacting with his clients and takes great interest in their overall success. Jerry likes to focus his practice in the area closely held entrepreneurial business of all sizes.Jerry is a licensed certified public accountant in Illinois and North Carolina. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
