Jennifer Pollock has been a resident of Florida for most of her life. She grew up in Southwest Florida and then attended the University of South Florida in Tampa. She graduated with a degree in English Education, and then decided to go to law school. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 1999. Jenny was on staff at the University of South Florida for several years as an adjunct professor, teaching in the Women's Studies Department. Her courses focused on employment law and discrimination. She has served as a mentor for many students at various levels of their education, including providing reading assistance to elementary students and volunteering as a legal-mentor for college and law school students. Jenny has extensive trial experience, and has served as a Trial Advocacy Workshop Instructor for new attorneys in the field of workers' compensation. She is certified as an instructor in Florida Workers' Compensation Law by the Florida Department of Insurance. She has argued before the Court of Appeals in Tallahassee and is admitted as an attorney and counselor of the Supreme Court of the United States. Because of her involvement and experience, she has been featured in Super Lawyers magazine in 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Less than 2.5% of attorneys are nominated for this particular honor. Jenny spent 16 years practicing Workers Compensation law, representing the interests of employers and insurance companies.
