I am married to my wife Darlene for over 32 years. We have 4 children, and one grandchild. My professional career in the insurance and financial services industry spans over 30 years. I was named Associate of the year for a national life company in 1990, as well as the top producing agent for a major financial Insurance Agency in 2001. In August, 2006, I became an agency owner and has consistently achieved Honor Ring level for outstanding performance. In 2013, I qualified for Inner Circle, the highest level of achievement as an agency owner. I received my CFP certification/designation in 2006. .I am extremely involved in my community, I am currently the President of the Middle Country Chamber of Commerce. Former Board Member and coach for the Middle Country Children's Soccer Club, Founding board member of the Middle Country Coalition for Smart Growth as well as former Vice President for the Centereach Civic Association. I was named Outstanding Volunteer of the Year in Suffolk County's 4th Legislative District in 2006, and voted Man of the Year by the Times Beacon Newspaper in 2008. I have recently been recognized by the Middle Country Children's Soccer Club as well as the Brookhaven Chambers of Commerce Coalition for my outstanding record of volunteerism.
