Jeff Colton, MAI joined Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Director in 2022. Mr. Colton joins Cushman & Wakefield as a multihousing specialist with experience throughout the Western United States. Mr. Colton started his career in senior housing communities including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities.Recently, the majority of Mr. Colton's experience is in market-rate multifamily communities ranging from six to 500 units, including mixed-use communities with either an office or retail component. He also has experience with single-family subdivisions and affordable/restricted-rate communities including LIHTC communities, HAP communities, Section 8 housing, and Manufacture Housing Communities (MHCs). This experience includes properties in all aspects of their life cycle including proposed developments (including land values), value-add scenarios, and stabilized communities.Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Colton served as a commercial real estate appraiser at Apprise's Southern California office where he performed all aspects of appraisal production ranging from client management to report production. Mr. Colton has appraised properties throughout California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado.Mr. Colton graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and more recently received his Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Real Estate from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a designated Member of the Appraisal Institute, and a Certified General Appraiser in California and Colorado.
