With over 40 years of experience, I have both a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation. I am also currently enrolled at ASU online working on a degree in history.We focus on working with clients who may have estate and legacy strategy needs, as well as individuals in or nearing retirement who need an effective withdrawal strategy. In addition, I work with a number of institutional accounts for businesses, trusts, foundations and endowments, where a clear investment process and objective is required. We also offer ESG-focused investments for individuals or institutions.I am an active member of the Northwest Washington Estate Planning Council (NWEPC). The NWEPC is an interdisciplinary organization for persons involved professionally in estate planning in northwestern Washington.I am very involved in my local community, serving as president of the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce Board and board secretary of the Economic Development Council of Island County and I serve on the board of the Whidbey Health Foundation. In addition, I am very proud of my past involvement with the Skagit Valley College Foundation, serving on their board as president for several years.I live on nearby Fidalgo Island with my wife, Cynthia Casey, and two of our children. My wife is also a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Lake Stevens and our daughter, Brenna Casey, is a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Stanwood. Our youngest is a college student at UW Tacoma.
