Jeff grew up on a dairy farm near Brush Prairie, WA. He graduated from Battle Ground High School where he played football, tennis and wrestled. He paid for his college education by working in construction while attending Clark College and Western Washington University. After graduation, WWU graduate Gail Patterson and he were married. Jeff then became a United States Marine Corps pilot, qualified in both airplanes and helicopters. His call sign was "K9". Afterwards he flew corporate jets and medical helicopters. Gail managed a variety of businesses. Jeff and Gail began investing in real estate in 1978 with a land purchase. They bought their first home in 1980 and their first rental house in 1982. Jeff started his real estate sales career in 1986. He is a Graduates of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and has been designated as an Accredited Buyer's Representatives (ABR) and Certified Residential Specialists (CRS). Less than 5% of all Realtors have all 3 designations. Real estate is probably your largest investment.
