As a lifelong resident of Marion County, my goal has always been to improve my community. I began my professional career as a civil engineer designing public utility projects for local communities. Now, as a financial advisor, I use the problem-solving approach I developed during my engineering career to help my clients reach their financial goals.I really enjoy getting to know my clients. When I truly understand what is important to them, it helps me develop tailored solutions to help them reach their goals. There is never a dull day in the office because every client and every situation is unique.I am a proud West Virginian. I grew up in Pleasant Valley, just outside Fairmont. I graduated from East Fairmont High School in 2003. I continued my education at West Virginia University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering in 2007. Upon graduating from WVU, I came back to Fairmont and began my career working as a civil engineer for a consulting firm. In April 2018, I was fortunate enough to bring my problem-solving skills to Edward Jones.My lovely wife, Danielle, and I have three amazing boys, Julian, Hudson and Parker. Danielle and I married in December 2010. We were blessed with identical twin boys, Julian and Hudson, in January 2013 and our youngest son, Parker, in July 2014. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing and watching sports. I am a big WVU and Duke basketball fan.I could not run the office by myself. In September 2020, I was extremely fortunate to hire Becky Bartrug as my branch office administrator. Becky was a medical biller for over 30 years before coming to Edward Jones. Becky and her husband, Duane, reside in Shinnston.In September 2024, I hired Monica Bell as a second branch office administrator. Monica is a Fairmont native who comes to us with 30 years of experience supporting investment advisors in Boston, MA. She, her husband, Jim, and their two kids moved back to WV in 2021 and live in Pleasant Valley.I am currently taking on new clients.
