I firmly believe that the decision to choose the perfect mortgage lender is similar to an interview process; this is my resume requesting you to consider me for the position. You're allowing me to handle the financing for one of the most valuable assets you'll ever own. I do appreciate the opportunity and will make sure you're receiving the type of service you expect from a proven mortgage lender. I owe a lot of my accomplishments in the mortgage field to my parents for instilling a drive for success since I was born. They've raised me to believe that I can do anything I want which I'm proving them right in my life right now. I was lucky enough to marry my college sweetheart, Jordan Cobb, who I extremely admire for her ambition and focus on our personal and financial goals. We were blessed with two beautiful children, Cruz Asher Cobb (2 1/2 years old) and Haven Kay Cobb (8 months). Jordan and I are enjoying our lives as new parents with keeping a healthy balance between work, life and play. Outside of the office we spend our time on Lake Austin wakesurfing, working out, playing tennis, running and introducing our children to as many new life experiences as possible. I began my mortgage career in 2002 after graduating from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State) and have helped thousands of families purchase/refinance homes all across Texas. My seven year experience as a Branch Manager instilled a great sense of urgency in me, as I was responsible for managing and closing 70-100 loans per month with 25 Loan Officers and 7 Processors. At that time I learned how to educate clients properly on all aspects of the mortgage business so there are less questions or uncertainties during the process. Patience is definitely a virtue, and I spend the time to explain important material successfully, whether it be to a first time homebuyer to the savvy real estate investor. My capacity for closing mortgage loans exceeds 20 per month but I act as if all clients have 100% of my attention.
