I began my career in the mortgage lending industry in Phoenix, AZ in 2003. In early 2007, I co-founded, owned, and operated MyCityLender, an Arizona based Mortgage Banker. I have an extensive background in every aspect of the mortgage lending process. I implemented and maintained all loan origination, CRM, operations, and compliance systems for the company. I also developed and implemented all HR, Origination, and Compliance policies and procedures during my tenure as CEO and President, all the while recruiting and training licensed loan originators and managers, as well as originating loans and working with Realtors and potential customers. In 2013, we consolidated our company and became a retail production branch of a larger mortgage company. After nearly 9 years, our team has re-introduced MyCityLender to the market! This is a project many years in the making, born on a simple premise- there must be a way for people to have a great home lending experience and receive a tremendous value. There must be a way to provide a highly personal and professional customer service experience, taking full advantage of the latest technology and tools, all while offering EXTREMELY competitive interest rates and low fees. Until MyCityLender was re-introduced to the market, borrowers had to take the time to search for a highly rated local broker to provide an experience like this. Otherwise, they had to choose between good service at higher interest rates from banks and retail lenders or an impersonal, remote, 800-number experience from online/discount brokers and online-only companies, offering lower rates with a poor customer experience.
