As a 40-year member of the MI Bar, I have worked 11+ years as an assistant prosecutor, 3.5+ years for the MI Court of Appeals, and the rest in private practice, mostly in Family Law, Probate and Estates and other general practice areas. It is my philosophy that clients should understand the reasons behind the steps in their cases, and not just accept my advice blindly. My practice is now limited, but I still believe in providing the best legal advice I can or referring to a more knowledgeable colleague for areas in which I do not practice.
