Janet L. Tallett is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her law degree from the Santa Barbara College of Law. While obtaining her law degree she worked full-time as a paralegal. She worked as a paralegal for 20 years in Santa Barbara California. Her work as a paralegal included the areas of estate planning, trust administration, probate, Medi-Cal planning, conservatorships, civil litigation, business law, land use, small claims, and criminal defense. Ms. Tallett has experience in the preparation of revocable living trusts, special needs trusts, irrevocable trusts including generation-skipping trusts, general durable powers of attorney for financial matters, health care directives, and Medi-Cal applications for long term care. She has extensive experience with trust administration and probate matters. She can also provide advise and analysis concerning tax matters, including property transfers and the preparation of Estate and Generation Skipping Tax Returns and Gift Tax Returns.
