I was blessed to be one of the very fortunate people who discovered the career I was meant to spend my life in at a very young age. I began working in the industry in 1981 at an entry level position. By 1985, I had gathered enough knowledge to become Series 7 & 63 securities registered. In the next few years, I obtained my Series 8 registration. In 1991, I started working as a trader, where I interacted with brokers and market makers. This time proved to be incredibly valuable, allowing me to learn even more about the inner workings of an investment firm. In 2003, I joined an independent wealth management firm and worked my way up to be the vice president of investments and portfolio management. Offerings covered equity, fixed income, private partnerships, real estate, and oil and gas investments. I worked hard to expand my industry knowledge; starting by obtaining my CFP® certification and culminating with an extensive study program to receive the CFA® designation.I came to Edward Jones in 2018 where I have the opportunity to have a much more meaningful impact working with individual investors rather than institutions. I take great satisfaction helping individual investors meet their goals and realize their financial dreams. While my job has been my lifelong passion, it is not the only thing enjoy. I am committed to giving back to the community with volunteer work. I am currently a CASA volunteer working with foster care children. I am also currently working on becoming a master gardener through the OSU extension office. Moving to Albany has brought me closer to my grandchildren and allows me to spend much more time with them. Other hobbies include travel, gardening and cooking.I look forward to continuing to contribute to my local community and creating partnerships that help others achieve their financial goals.
