I reside in Fluker, a small town near Amite, where I have lived for most of my life. My favorite thing about Amite is the way town comes together for those in need. The people here are so friendly and caring, and they welcome others with a smile, so I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. I opened the doors to my agency in 2013. I believe it is also important to be involved in the community. I am a member of the Amite Chamber of Commerce, and I am proud to show my support for an organization that helps local businesses.I enjoy cooking, reading and watching major sporting events, including the Saints and Pelicans, and sharing these experiences with my friends and family. I am a mother to one daughter and two sons. I graduated from Louisiana State University in 1985 with my bachelor's degree in education. After graduation, I became a teacher in Amite and I taught seventh to 10th graders for 22 years. As a teacher I enjoyed the opportunity to help our youth, and as an insurance agent I have been able to use my education to help families and individuals in our community. I am an Allstate agency owner because I love to help people, and I want them to feel protected and cared about. I am thankful for all the support I have received from those in Amite, and I would be happy to get to know you. I want people to know that when they visit the agency, they will speak with someone who cares and is knowledgeable about insurance.
