His goal is to improve the process for everyone who needs health care, and he has recovered almost a half-billion dollars in verdicts and settlements as he has worked toward that goal.At Bowling Green State University, Mr. Casey earned his undergraduate degree before moving on to law school. In 1993, he graduated with his Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law. While in law school, he reached the national finals of the American Trial Lawyers competition. In one of his first cases, his client was awarded $1 million by a jury and a doctor with poor practices was removed from a hospital.In 1993, Mr. Casey was admitted to practice in the state of Ohio. Since then, he has been involved in dozens of high-value, high-profile cases of personal injury and medical malpractice. As other lawyers and his clients put their trust in him, he expands his experience and his compensation totals not only to help his clients, but also to hold medical professionals and facilities accountable for the health care they provide.While working with several firms throughout his career, Mr. Casey gained valuable experience with people in 55 of the 88 counties in the state.
