Upon graduation from Hampton University in 1989, James served in the United States Marine Corps as an Artillery officer. He left the Marine Corps and attended Duke University's Fuqua School of Business for his MBA.After graduation, James went into Management Consulting in over 35 countries. While Consulting, he actively invested in the Washington Metropolitan Area's real estate market. After a few years of successfully dabbling in the market, James decided to leave his corporate job and pursue his passion of selling real estate full-time. For 15 years James was the Principal owner of Senate Realty, an independent brokerage the served DC, MD and VA. In 2020 Senate Realty has joined Keller Williams Capital Properties to broaden their services and serving clients in the DC Metropolitan area.
