Jim is a Partner at the firm, where he leads the Investment Management Team and is an integral member of both the Financial Industry Group and the Commercial Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group. Known for his proactive approach and problem-solving skills, Jim advises a diverse clientele, including major private and public companies, boards, and committees, on complex transactions and disputes, ranging from mergers and acquisitions to internal investigations and restructurings. His experience extends to representing private credit and investment funds, fund managers, global capital allocators, investors, and high-net-worth individuals in various business activities, as well as serving as counsel in significant U.S. and international financial disputes and liquidations.
