As a founder and former CEO of a health products company and as a founder of a SaaS business (), hehas first-hand experience in developing a business from inception, includingorganizational matters, technology licensing, manufacturing agreements,fund-raising, franchise agreements, and merger transactions. His current corporate practice emphasizes business transactions,including entity formation, buy-sell agreements, and financingtransactions (venture, private and debt), as well as day-to-day legalrepresentation. Contracts & licensing are primary practiceareas, including hardware and software licensing agreements,non-disclosure agreements, distribution agreements (such as dealer, distributorand manufacturer representative agreements), licensor/agent/licenseerepresentation, and artist and author representation. Based on his manyyears of experience in the field of art publishing and artist representation,he has also served as an expert witness in the area of artlicensing.
