Ms. Goldstein is a principal with the firm concentrating her practice in the areas of matrimonial and family law since 1985. She has been an active trial attorney preparing and litigating divorce cases involving complex financial matters, including business and real estate valuation, cash flow analysis and custody issues. Ms. Goldstein also has been appointed by the Court to represent children in custody disputes. Ms. Goldstein is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, and Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County. She is a Certified Arbitrator in Lake County, Illinois. She has been a member of the Jefferson Inn, American Inn of Court and on the Board of Directors of CASA "Court Appointed Special Advocates." Ms. Goldstein is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Goldstein received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1982 and her Juris Doctor degree from Chicago Kent College of Law in 1985. Ms. Goldstein has been named in the 2015 edition of Best Lawyers in America. Additionally, her peers selected her to be a member of the Leading Lawyer's Network published by the Illinois Law Bulletin. She was also selected one of the Top 50 Female attorneys by a blue ribbon panel nominating Super Lawyers in Illinois, named an Illinois Family Law Super Lawyer and rated AV Preeminent for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability by Martindale-Hubbell since 2007.
