I am a native of Brazil who moved to Southern California in 1991, where I got my B.A. with Honors from UCI, and then my JD from Whittier Law School, also in Irvine, CA. During my law school studies I focused on private & public international law, taking a semester in Paris, France, through a program offered by Tulane Law School at the Universite de Paris II. I passed both the FL & NY Bars in my first attempt (and waived into the DC Bar) and worked at the International Business Department of H&K and thereafter, at Fowler White Burnett.
