I grew up in Mobile and graduated from Julius T. Wright. I attended the University of Virginia and then graduate school at University of South Alabama. I taught high school History in Mobile and Birmingham. I lived in Birmingham for 18 years where she married Hugh Milteer, Jr. and raised their three children. I returned to the area in 2012 for Hugh's job and to be closer to family. I love to bake and started a company, Point Clear Cakes, which sells cakes to various retail outlets in the area. Since moving to Fairhope, I have been involved in my community by volunteering at Bayside Academy, Lower Alabama Lacrosse and the National Charity League.
