Heather Miles is an Associate in our Charlotte office. She practices in first-party and third-party coverage matters.Heather graduated from the University of South Carolina with her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2012 and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2019. During law school, she was a part of the Immigration Clinic where she advocated on behalf of immigrants in a variety of immigration proceedings, in addition to helping individual clients. While working in the Immigration Clinic, Heather won her first case and her client, a Jamaican political activist and community leader, was granted asylum.Prior to joining the firm, Heather worked at Motley Rice in Charleston, South Carolina where she assisted with national opioid litigation.With a strong devotion to philanthropy, Heather is involved with the Lancaster County SPCA, the Lancaster County Council of the Arts, the Ronald McDonald House charities, the Children's Miracle Network, and various cancer organizations.
