Before enhancing his probate and estate planning law practice, Mr. Dakroub was the former Director of Attorney Relations for Fairmax Law, a high-volume consumer debt relief law firm with locations nationwide. With his efforts, he helped Fairmax Law expand into multiple territories across the United States. Mr. Dakroub has also advised thousands of bankruptcy clients throughout his career.Dating back to his Law Review days during his law school tenure, Mr. Dakroub has and continues to be an avid legal researcher and writer and enjoys keeping up with new trends in the law. As a result, he also previously worked as the Research Attorney for the 19th District Court in Dearborn, Michigan, where he assisted the district court judges with ongoing case files by researching applicable laws, drafting orders, preparing memorandums, and advising the judges and other court officials regarding various legal matters.Prior to starting his own law practice, Mr. Dakroub was Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of a health care organization that managed 1,000 private-practice physicians. In that capacity, some of his tasks included negotiating and executing numerous agreements between various major health plans, drafting contracts pertaining to company operations, setting up policies and procedures to ensure operational and health care compliance, and facilitating board of directors' and committee meetings.Mr. Dakroub's background also includes working in the Office of the General Counsel at General Dynamics. There, he was responsible for aiding the General Counsel along with the Trade Compliance and Business Development departments concerning company issues relating to government contracting, litigation and claims, patent organization, company restructuring, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he previously clerked and worked with highly-reputable law firms in the Metro-Detroit area.Mr. Dakroub is an alumnus of the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit Mercy where he received numerous scholarships and graduated with honors from both institutions. He enjoys practicing martial arts in his spare time and is currently ranked as a Master (5th Dan Black Belt) in Tae Kwon Do. He has won multiple gold medals at state, regional, and national championship competitions throughout his 26-year martial arts career. A few of his Tae Kwon Do accomplishments include being the #2 ranked Tae Kwon Do fighter in the United States in 2017-2018, the #3 ranked Tae Kwon Do fighter in the United States in 2016-2017, the 2002 Junior Olympic Gold Medalist, a 6-time Michigan Tae Kwon Do State Champion and the 2011 Regional Tae Kwon Do Champion. Mr. Dakroub is a member of the Wayne County Probate Bar Association, Probate and Estate Planning, and the Young Lawyers sections of the State Bar of Michigan. He is admitted to practice law in the in the State of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
