I am a former Senior Trial Attorney (GS 15) at the Narcotics Section, Criminal Division, US Department of Justice, and retired Army JAG officer (Lieutenant Colonel). In addition to graduating from Law School at the University of Virginia with a Juris Doctor degree, I have an LL.M. in criminal law from George Washington University. I have over 47 years of experience litigating criminal cases as both a prosecutor and a defense counsel. I once won three consecutive murder cases in the Alexandria federal court. I have been in private practice defending individuals since 1986. I lived in Japan and Hawaii for 3 years each, and have visited over 40 foreign countries, so I can easily relate to a wide variety of people.
