Prior to re-opening his office in the town of Coeymans, George served as General Counsel to Carver Companies, a group of closely held corporations and limited liability companies within upstate New York and Charleston, South Carolina.', 'Immediately before that, he served as a Federal Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Administration.', 'He has extensive experience working in policy making positions at every level of government, including the local level, the state level, and the federal level, and served as the liaison between the Department of Defense and the American Bar Association from 2010 through 2011.', ' ', 'Military Experience', 'As a New York Army National Guard Staff Judge Advocate Officer, George served overseas on a combat deployment in 2012.', 'Prior to his deployment, he worked in the Office of Legal Policy for the Secretary of Defense, where he worked on a daily basis with the members of Congress, their legislative and professional staff, as well as the members and staff of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees.', 'George retired from the National Guard on August 1, 2017, after a distinguished 31-year military career as a combat arms officer, a Judge Advocate General, and a Judge Advocate at the Office of the Secretary of Defense and National Guard Bureau, as well as a certified US Army Military Law Judge.', ' ', 'Associations and Memberships', 'George is a member of the Albany County Bar Association, the NYS Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Assocation of Trial Lawyers of America and the 210th Armor Assocation.', 'He is a life member of the 42nd Infantry Division Association, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ravena Post #9594, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Economic Growth.
