Gaylon C. Hollis focuses his practice on patent prosecution and litigation in domestic and foreign jurisdictions. He also handles trademark application searches, filings and prosecution.Gaylon counsels clients regarding intellectual property due diligence, patentability and infringement analysis. His applied experience includes mechanical, software, and electrical technologies including power generation, cloud computing, telecommunications, medicals devices, consumer products, and design patents.Gaylon has experience in all phases of patent litigation, including drafting briefs, complaints and orders in federal court proceedings and post-grant proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office. He also advises clients in drafting and negotiating various contracts such as master service agreements, SaaS agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work and term sheets.Gaylon has research experience in biomedical engineering, technical experience as an engineer and project manager at a major aeronautics company and automotive company.In addition to his IP practice, Gaylon serves as an adjunct professor at Morehouse College and Clayton State University. He teaches business law in relation to contacts, intellectual property, Internet law and tort law.
