I was Born in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and moved to Springfield as a child. Went 12 years at Springfield Schools and graduated from high school in 1963. From there I stayed and worked locally at various jobs. In 1966 I met and married Bob Alger, a native of Springfield, and have one wonderful son. .In 1970, I got my real estate license and went to work at Finn and Stone Real Estate Co. I became part of Valley Real Estate Group in 1996 and have never looked back. It was one of the best moves I ever made. We are now Barrett and Valley Associates, Inc., which has broadened mine and the company's opportunity to expand and to offer so much more experience and knowledge.I have lived in Springfield most of my life have met and made many friends, especially through my years in real estate. I have always thought Springfield is a great place to work and bring up a family.Springfield Hospital has taken the extra step to insure that their professional staff is always there to give you attention and care that you expect and deserve. Springfield schools have also taken steps to give our children the schooling to send them off into the world with the knowledge they need to succeed. TheHoward Dean Education Center has been a true success and has proven to be an asset to Springfield, VT. That is just a few of the reasons why I love and live in Springfield.When not selling real estate, I can be found at Crown Point Country Club playing golf. I have been a member since 1966, been on the Board of Trustees 3 terms and was President in 2002-2003 (only woman president).
