Evan specializes in contract review, drafting, negotiations, and risk management strategically focused on the resolution of business matters.Before joining London Fischer, Evan was corporate counsel for an international business conglomeration responsible for coordinating the firm's insurance and risk management programs; handling cargo, carrier transport, workers compensation, property, automobile, and product liability claims; preparing trademark and copyright applications, and intellectual property renewal declaration filings; drafting, reviewing, and revising vendor service agreements, data protection plans, real estate leases, and asset purchase contracts; managing discovery with defense counsel and monitoring active prosecution ensuring control of liability; leading corporate bidding and asset acquisition; and providing advice and counsel regarding strategic partnerships.She also practiced as a litigation attorney at a Los Angeles-based business law firm, with experience handling jury and bench trials in federal, state, and administrative courts on arbitration, civil, criminal, bankruptcy, probate, and regulatory matters.Evan received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School and holds a B.A. in Political Science, which she earned cum laude.Prior to law school, Evan worked as a licensed commercial insurance broker, giving her a solid background in business insurance programs. She also served in the Orange County District Attorney's Workers Compensation and Automobile Insurance Fraud Unit.Evan is an active member of the National Inn of Court, the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA), the Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA), and the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA). Committed to serving her community, Evan is Co-Chair Ways & Means of the Children's Hospital of Orange County Glass Slipper Guild's Board of Directors and Vice-Chairwoman of the Pacific Marine Mammal Center's Ocean Club. She also serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors for Southwestern Law School, the UC Irvine Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee, and is a Board Member and Social Media Chair of Anteaters-In-Law.
