I have been a financial services professional since graduating from LaSalle University in 2000. I spent the beginning of my career performing financial statement assurance with a Big Four accounting firm and later transitioned into the private sector working for a real estate investment company. Over my nine year tenure, I participated in the management of a publicly traded REIT, commercial real estate investment analysis, and the establishment and management of a residential mortgage company. As a member of a start-up mortgage company during some challenging times in the industry, I was afforded another opportunity to broaden my scope in the real estate community as well as develop vital skills as a mortgage professional. As a Vice President of Finance, I had direct oversight of secondary marketing and accounting functions including, but not limited to: pricing analytics and best execution; loans sales to investors; warehousing; and financial modeling. This role required collaboration with key management personnel from every department in the mortgage fulfillment process and deepened my experience as a mortgage professional. I soon developed an appreciation of the mortgage process as well as the desire to leverage this experience in a consumer-facing role through loan origination. This desire lead me to Guaranteed Rate in 2013. As a Vice President of Mortgage Lending, I look forward to meeting new clients, referral partners and mortgage professionals to share the value we have to offer. I realize the fact each borrower is unique with individual needs, and look forward to placing them in the best loan program for their given situation. Whether working to obtain financing for a first time home buyer or refinancing an investment property for a real estate entrepreneur, I find each transaction extremely rewarding. I currently live in Merion, PA with my wife and our two children. When outside of the workplace, we love to spend time outdoors. We enjoy many local parks in The Main Line and the Greater Philadelphia Area and often venture to the beach to visit family in Ocean City, NJ.
