Emily J. Young was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama and is an alumnus of Grissom High School and Auburn University. She holds a Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from the Birmingham School of Law and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning and Elder Law from Western New England University. Emily has received advanced training in the following areas: Elder Law Issues Life-Care Planning Estate & Wealth Planning Medicare & Medicaid Special Needs Planning Emily opened Green Mountain Legal Services in March of 2017 with the vision of providing seniors, individuals with special needs, and their families with quality legal services and personalized care. In 2018, Green Mountain Legal Services was nominated for "Woman Owned Business of the Year" and "Emerging Business of the Year" by the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County.
