Growing up in a military family (USAF), I was blessed by being raised in various parts of our beautiful country plus 3 years spent abroad in Germany! We returned to our Southern roots during my teenage years where I attended North Carolina State University earning my bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing in 2004. From there, I went on to an exciting 10 year, award-winning career in medical device sales and private practice consulting. Due to an unexpected turn of events, I was at a crossroads career wise. In hindsight, it was a blessing in disguise. With admittedly some fear, I made the leap of faith and went into residential real estate sales (my dream became reality sooner than expected!) in 2013 and haven't looked back since! I surrounded myself with industry talent while taking it all in and working on my craft. I incorporated the proven concepts and technology I successfully utilized in my previous positions and applied them to the real estate market. My passion for new construction, renovation, floor plans, design, decor and all things home related supported my efforts as I quickly rose to the top in our market specializing in luxury properties in the greater Lexington and Lake Murray areas! I'm known for claiming the impossible sales price for my sellers (all of which I personally stage!), my strong negotiation skills, locating the perfect home for my buyers at the right price and my sanity-saving organizational plan that always reminds my clients as to why they hired me as their Realtor! Personally, I live near the Lake Murray dam close to it all with my family including our sweet rescue pup Millie and our backyard box turtle Skipperdee! Home is where the heart is and my children are my absolute greatest blessing. We love the beach, picnics, camping, farm visits, baseball games, listening to music (Luke Bryan & Miranda Lambert fans!) reading together and just about anything that makes us laugh! If I weren't in the real estate business, I would pursue my passion of seeing the world as an aspiring travel writer and children's book author. To me, there's nothing better than seeing it through the pure joy and innocence of their eyes. I love discovering new places with my friends and family and you'll always find me planning my next trip whether it's just a sporadic road trip to go apple picking or a weeklong island-hopping adventure! Some of my favorite spots so far have included Greece, St. Barths, Paris, Dubai, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and my beloved NYC. You'll find me hiking, sailing, scouting out the best restaurants, shopping for the perfect souvenir, touring a vineyard, seeing a Broadway show, enjoying sunsets and taking as many photos as possible to capture it all!
