I help my clients gain their bearings as they start their new journey, quickly connecting them with neighbors and groups who share their interests. For my clients who are embarking away from our island, my many years of traveling and teaching help settle them into the transition phase and ease the relocation process. Additionally, all my clients benefit from my communication, attention to detail, and advocacy skills that I developed as the primary Spanish translator and interpreter for one of our island's medical malpractice law firms. Outside of real estate, you'll often catch me running, biking, or walking my lovable Airedale terrier around the island. Bainbridge's parks, open space and quick access to water is ripe for exploring. Blakely Harbor, Fort Ward, and Pritchard Park are a few of my favorite island parks. In 2010, I moved to Bainbridge Island with my husband and quickly fell in love with the community. Prior to establishing roots on Bainbridge I traveled across the country teaching outdoor education and leading wilderness trips. The insights and personal connections gained from those journeys made me want to integrate myself into the local fabric of our Bainbridge Island community. I am involved in many local non-profit organizations and community events; including being on the board for our local bicycle advocacy group Squeaky Wheels, Kiwanis International, volunteer for Rotary, the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District, Washington Trails Association, several of our on-island wineries, and Friends of the Farms. Being so involved has allowed me to experience many different and wonderful aspects of our island as well as build lasting relationships with people from all different walks of life. I love the excitement of helping my clients navigate the local real estate market, pointing out many areas to consider that are often forgotten about; neighbors, culture, best kept local secrets.
