In my former life, I founded Eb & Bean, opening three neighborhood shops in Portland that are still a destination for made-from-scratch organic froyo and toppings. It was a fun and often challenging experience in leadership and hospitality, and great preparation for my role as a real estate problem solver and project manager. I grew up near D.C., went to high school in New Hampshire, spent my college years in Madison, WI, and lived in the Bay Area for several years before relocating to Portland in 2007. I live in northeast Portland with my kids, Eben and Sabine, partner Casey, a mental health counselor and ceramics studio owner, and our Boston Terrier, Charlie. When not working with clients, I'm cooking, seeing lots of live music, spending time at the Forest Service cabin I share with friends in Washington, and volunteering in a leadership role with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.
