I was raised in New York with my parents, grandfather and 6 sisters and 3 brothers. My father was a jack of all trades and one of those trades was purchasing homes and flipping them. I learned so much just watching him work hard turning a piece of wood into a beautiful hutch cabinet. He taught me how to paint walls, sand down and refinish wood floors and even how to; what they call today; stage furniture to maximize the beauty of any space. That's probably why I love artichecture and traveling to old worlds to see them. I moved to Connecticut in 1989 with my husband of 28 years to raise our 3 children and always had an interest in becoming a real estate agent. I became an agent when it became obvious that the need for bilingual agents was in demand. I speak Spanish and understand Portuguese and Italian. I get great pleasure and satisfaction helping buyers and sellers through the home buying process by educating them so they become confident about the choice they make. I provide my buyer's and seller's with accurate comparative analysis of homes of same style and size for pricing. Showing what just sold is how banks give value to any property. My job is to be sure that my customers understand how the value is given to any property. I also educate myself on the different mortgage plans offered to buyers. I request that all my clients get pre qualified or better yet pre approved by a bank for a mortgage before they begin their search for a new home. Knowing what you can afford before you go shopping only makes sense. Falling in love with a property just to learn you don't qualify for a mortgage is very disappointing. Come work with an agent that cares about your needs. The home buying experience can be a very stressful experience so working with someone that puts your interest first is imperative. I come from a large family and understand what families needs to raise their family and entertain extended families and friends.
