Edie Chapman was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland, in Epping Forest, a community on the Severn River, where she spent her summers swimming, boating and crabbing.Edie graduated from Annapolis High School and went on to get her Bachelor's & Master's degrees from the University of Maryland. In 1985 she moved to Kent Island, where she lived for 30 years while raising her 3 children, who graduated from Kent Island High School and then Salisbury College. She is retired from the Federal Government, National Security Agency, where she worked as a Program Manager/Financial Analyst, serving 3 years on assignment in England and traveling throughout Europe. She now resides in both Annapolis, MD & Bradenton, FL. She has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
