Dustin Guthrie

After growing up in the Washington DC suburbs, Dustin was introduced to the warmth of the south through family vacations to North and South Carolina beaches. After one visit to Charleston he immediately fell in love with its charm, history, quaint communities, landscape, and lifestyle. This eventually led him to attend and graduate from the College of Charleston with a BS in Business Administration and concentration in Logistics and Transportation.Dustin has now lived in Charleston for 20+ years and currently shares time between his home in Park Circle and residence in Edisto Island with his wife and three children. He joined Carolina One after a successful career as a software engineer at Blackbaud to pursue his passion in real estate, after extensive experience with investment property purchases and home renovations. He lives a very active lifestyle, is an avid runner, a youth sports coach, and enjoys spending time outdoors doing anything in or around the water here in Charleston. In his spare time he also enjoys his Edisto Island residence with his family where they can take in the tranquility, wildlife, and rich history of the lowcountry.He believes real estate is "More than a home, it's a way of life" and a home should be an extension of your lifestyle that allows you to live your best life everyday.
