Donna Paton founded Paton Real Estate, LLC in 2001. As the Principal Broker, she provides direct supervision to the firm's associate broker and agents, in residential real estate transactions in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. After several years in the defense contracting industry, working for firms such as Raytheon Service Company and RCI, Paton began her real estate career in 1987 as the Director of Sales and Marketing for a 200-acre residential waterfront community in Annapolis, MD. She studied real estate with Long and Foster's real estate licensing courses, as well as, Weichert Academy prior to joining Weichert Realtors in 1996. In addition to selling homes and working with buyers, Donna served as an office mentor for new real estate agents, administered a listing presentation program, and conducted Spring Buyers Seminars. Paton studied Broker Law, Appraisal, Financing, and Brokerage Management at the Moseley School prior to becoming a Principal Broker.
